Each year, we volunteer our time working with the Northern Illinois Food Bank and Feed My Starving Children to help give back to the community that supports us!
Tri-City Health Free Clinic
Tri-City Health Free Clinic
As a part of the curriculum, PGY-2 and PGY-3 residents rotate at the tri-cities free health clinic. Residents volunteer once a month to give back to this community, by being available for after hour appointments. Patients are staffed with our core faculty, who also volunteer their time to support the mission of the Tri-City Health Partnership.

Chicago Marathon

Our residents participate as medical volunteers every year at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, Shamrock Shuffle, and the Half-Marathon.
On-field Sports
On-field Sports
Residents also get on-field sports medicine experience by working on the sidelines with attendings at local high school football games and NIU College Women's and Men's Basketball games.
