Jeff is an avid instructor, designer, and educator based on the east coast. Currently, Jeff is the Band Director at Louis L. Redding Middle School in Middletown, Delaware where he instructs band and general music classes for grades 6-8. He is currently serving as an executive board member and Public & Media Relations chair for the Delaware Winds, Delaware’s only semi-professional wind ensemble non-profit performing group, as well as one of the DE All-State Jr. Band committee chairs within the Delaware Music Educators Association. Jeff also holds membership with the Delaware Music Educator's Association and NAfME and has been a participating member and representative in his Teachers' Union Associations.
Jeff is an alumnus of the University of Delaware’s School of Music where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. While there, he was a student of Mr. Brian Brown, Dr. Chad Nicholson, Dr. Alden Snell, Dr. Suzanne Burton, Ms. Heidi Sarver, and Mr. Jim Ancona.
Jeff enjoys spending the majority of his free time and summers instructing and designing for marching bands, indoor percussion groups, and drum corps. Currently, Jeff serves as the Visual Caption Head for the DCI World Class Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps where he has been on staff since 2018, helping the corps make its return to DCI Semi-Finals in 2019. Jeff lives in Magnolia, DE with his dog Rocky.
