Very approachable and felt I could come to with any questions/concerns
Dr. Deeds creates an excellent learning environment that is non-judgmental and encourages questions. One of the ways she did this was by asking us to write our goals for the rotation on the first day, which other attendings have done in the past, but she actively addressed our goals and provided targeted feedback to help us work towards achieving them, often providing resources or papers to assist. No recommendations for improvement, just encouragement to continue doing this.
Stef was a great attending. She was very flexible and gave me more independence when I wanted it. She looked for opportunities to teach and was not afraid to do resident-esque work to offload me when needed.
Amazing attending, best I've ever worked with. Stefanie had the perfect balance of being supportive/available/doing tasks that are difficult for residents due to time restrictions (talking with families, ancillary staff, DC summaries on sernior days off) and also giving a ton of autonomy. Stefanie is brilliant and offered great, relevant teaching. She is an ideal attending, I will miss not working with her more.
Working with Dr. Deeds was very enjoyable and educational. I felt well-supported, but also independent in my decision-making.
I loved working with Dr. Deeds. She was always available, very supportive, but allowed me to feel like the team leader. I hope I get the opportunity to work with her again in the future.
Provided good support during my Day Med rotation and was very knowledgeable and approachable. Would like to work with her again!
Very accessible but also let us make decisions on our own. Really enjoyed working with Dr. Deeds!
I really appreciated that Dr. Deeds set very clear expectations from the beginning. She also always found the time to do quick, relevant teaching during the day, even when we were overwhelmed with work as busy new interns.
I worked with Dr Deeds for less than a week, but I very much enjoyed those days. I loved the way she took the time to ask us about our strengths and weaknesses and how she tailored her teaching to our specific needs. In addition to being amazingly knowledgable, Dr Deeds was also friendly, approachable, and fun. I'm glad I had the opportunity to work with her.
Great. I like the way that you run rounds post call. Excellent.
Great attending!! Fun to work with and a great teacher.
Stefanie made herself extremely available and was very supportive throughout our time together. By being in touch over Skype, she offered support while still allowing space for me to truly run the team. She delivered brief and very effective teaching sessions which were exemplary. She offered quick teaching points at the bedside, which were appreciated by the entire team. She elicited requests from me and offered well-timed feedback. I really enjoyed working with her!
I really enjoyed the task for each member of the team to identifying learning goals on a post-it note at the start of the rotation. It was helpful for me to pin point areas that I wanted to work on as well as provide a benchmark for feedback. Wonderful teacher and incredibly approachable. I really enjoyed working on her team!
Dr. Deeds was a pleasure to work with. She is detailed and engaging.
Dr. Deeds was a wonderful attending to work with. I appreciated that she took the time to teach, and offered support when needed.

It was great working with you. Thank you for the help on intern alone days.
I enjoyed working with Dr. Deeds, she is able to provide constructive feedback in a way that is very respectful without sacrificing targeted areas for improvement.
Approachable and available yet allowed me to be in control even during my first week of intern year. Very much enjoyed working with them! Hope I get to again.

Please identify at least one item that this attending could work on in order to improve as a clinic attending.
Can't think of anything, always helpful and really fantastic to work with.
Would love more feedback on how I am doing with management of patients looking at half-day of clinic as a whole.
I would love more feedback from Dr. Deeds! As a newer attending, she has a lot of insight both on clinical matters and also on progression through residency. I think she would be a great mentor for residents, and would love to see her step more actively into that role.
Nothing! she is a role model in terms of her clinical knowledge and physical exam skills. Always impressed by her.
Direct feedback after a clinic session would be helpful.
A general recommendation for preceptors I've worked with would be to address what remaining continuity clinic observations are required prior to the clinic day and make a plan to work together to check them off. Certainly requires some flexibility to achieve this, but would be helpful to have a plan.
not much - finding single teaching pearl in a clinic presentation perhaps?
Please identify something this attending is doing well and should keep doing.
I loved working with Dr. Deeds. She was kind, enthusiastic, and a great teacher. She always offered helpful assistance with my plans while still preserving my autonomy and independence.
Really love working with Dr. Deeds. Always offers helpful teaching points that improve my plans for patients.
I enjoy working with Stefanie and think she is very approachable and supportive while precepting in WHC. She helps me arrive at a treatment plan and allows me to present the plan to patients and discuss whatever comes up without jumping in, which is something I appreciate about her.
appreciate her calm confidence and support. offers teaching by way of her own approach to things which is very helpful
I really appreciate the concise learning points that Dr. Deeds tends to add to pre-clinic conference and discussion of plans for patients.
Very respectful, approachable, educates without condescending, and open to resident plans. When we have worked together, I really do feel like I am primary and she is helping me be a better physician by actively listening and responding to my thoughts, rather than not paying much attention and stating her own plan like others I have worked with.
Dr. Deeds is very thoughtful when staffing with patients. She actively listens, prompting for more information, checking clinical understanding, and offering clinical pearls. I always learn more from her, she enthusiastically will help me with difficult exam techniques or working through a diagnostic mystery. I also have deeply appreciated in the past when I have been on busy inpatient blocks, and she will offer to follow up on important testing happening the next day that needs a swift response so that I do not need to worry about juggling that with a long call shift. It's a small gesture, but makes a huge difference, both for me and the patient.
