Only 5 days remain to apply for the 50% Scholarship for the Master of Fine Arts Program in Design (SU Design MFA 2026) at Silpakorn University. Applications close on 16 June 2026.
The program offers two scholarships covering 50% of tuition fees throughout the two-year program, valued at THB 140,000 per scholarship. Designed for aspiring designers and creative professionals, the curriculum integrates Research Design, Digital Technology and Design, and Cross-Culture Capital Design. Students will also have access to advanced digital learning facilities, including VR equipment and professional digital drawing displays.
Interviews will be held on 19 June 2026, with classes beginning on 11 July 2026. The program is conducted on weekends and outside regular working hours.

The Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University, is inviting aspiring designers and motorcycle enthusiasts to join “Sketch to AI: Bike Design & AI Workshop for Entry Level” on 27 June 2026 at the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Wang Tha Phra Campus.
Led by Mr. Bumsuk Lim, an international transportation design expert, former ArtCenter Transportation Design Professor, and former automotive designer for GM and Honda, the workshop will introduce participants to the fundamentals of motorcycle sketching, including proportion, perspective, linework, shading, and visual communication. The program will conclude with practical tips on using AI tools to transform sketches into realistic concept renderings.
Designed for design students, beginners, and anyone interested in developing creative sketching skills, the one-day workshop includes hands-on exercises, live demonstrations, materials and equipment, lunch, and a certificate of completion.
Applications are open until 21 June 2026. The registration fee is THB 2,500 per person.

The Faculty of Decorative Arts warmly invites you to join the celebration of its Foundation Day on May 18, 2026, at Silpakorn University, Wang Tha Phra Campus.
The morning program will begin from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a Buddhist merit-making ceremony at the Faculty of Decorative Arts Art and Design Center. Registration for the afternoon session will open at 1:00 p.m., followed by the “70 Years of Wisdom” Recognition Ceremony at 1:30 p.m. at the university auditorium. The ceremony will honor distinguished supporters, outstanding alumni, current students, faculty members, and support staff in recognition of their contributions to the Faculty and the university community.
The SILPA Creative Works Exhibition 2026 is now open for submissions. Artists, designers, and creators are invited to submit creative works accompanied by a short written statement in the fields of Interior and Spatial Design, Communication Design and Visual Communication, Product Design and Crafts, Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, as well as Applied Arts and Visual Arts. Submissions are accepted from now until June 30, 2026.
The submission fee is 1,000 THB per entry.

The Master’s programs in Visual Communication Design and Product Design are now accepting applications from third- and fourth-year undergraduate students in design-related fields from all universities to enroll in the Advanced Placement Program. This program allows students to accelerate their studies, complete their master’s degree more quickly, and significantly reduce overall expenses.
