He joined the party with Mon at the fort outpost, seeming to be one of the soldiers in the mess hall.

The commander of the fort sent the 2 with the party to solve the skeleton attack that had penetrated the walls. When the party descended the caves under the mountain leading to the hidden necromancer he took the necklace made to control the undead and wore it, hearing a call and resisting. After solving the problem of skeletons on returning to the fort and seeing it in turmoil from an assassin attack he killed a citizen running to alert the guards that Caleb the First was with him, who was a suspect since he arrived with the assassins. He and Caleb then received the master mage of the mountaintop tower to the Fort where his killing was confirmed. Pulley told the commander that he would remember him and the mage. For this and since he was a soldier of the fort he was sentenced to hang, where the last moments of awareness he heard the voice calling again.
