Joined his brother Caleb the First in aiding an Elf noble at a cave. The party was double crossed and trapped in The Cave Prison where they met two opposing groups of prisoners. The party managed to get the prisoners to join forces in order to escape, leading to the death of the Elf noble and meeting of Nadir. After this Armin fell into a sick slumber from actions taken in the cave. The party gave him medicine before departing and while they were away he recovered. He rejoined the party on their return to Dol Meronth and joined them in reaching Nadir and The Master to discuss assassins. He went to the Forest by Dol Meronth and ran into both the orphans and the elves. While with the orphans he attempted to play his banjo by the dwarf guarding the camp at night while others slept. He did not notice the other dwarf preparing to stab him, after which the guard dwarf hit him with his own instrument, sending him to death's door. At this point the camp was awake, but no one could save him before death took hold.
