The purpose of this project was to design a character and develop a walk cycle, which was created by altering different parts of the character's anatomy. This cycle was used to create frame-by-frame animation and motion design to create a short clip or GIF image as seen to the left. This was used in association with the level game design. The first step of this project was to create several thumbnails for a character design that would be used in the final walk cycle.
The second step of this project is to choose a single character design and create several colour palettes. This would help decide the colour palette that would be used in the final character design.
The third step of this project was to create a side view of the character design from the front view. Ultimately, this would be used as a template to create the walk cycle sheet.
