This outcrop is on US-31E near Coxs Creek, KY 40013.    Most were the close to the size of a golf ball.  The formation is Grant Lake Limestone and is Ordovician in age.  485 – 444 million years old.  Here is the location 38.008, -85.501 in Google Maps and here it is on the Ky Geological Map.  Note this is about 20 minutes way from Bernheim Forest and Jim Beam Bourbon Distillery.
