Existence, limits of the sublimated human mind.
The year is 1917, deep within the cursed lands of the Star that Hates, land of the Kiber-Tvar. You awake from your pod, the throbbing headache still threatening to pop your brain, as you struggle to understand what is happening and what has happened to you, you realize you are unable to fully piece the fragments of your memory together. The world is cold, the air is harsh, the sensation on your exposed skin stings, and each breath feels scorching. The idea of pain has returned to you, looking around you see a brutalist industrial wasteland covered in snow and ash. You shamble onwards, staying still would only mean a certain death, what lies ahead is the promise of the unknown.
From towns and outposts in the Frontier Regions of the Empire reports began to emerge of strange otherworldly phenomena, odd lights in the skies, alien figures stalking through the dark, and disembodied voices of loved ones calling out from the sky. It wouldn't be long afterwards that the mass disappearances would begin. With the growing frequency of these otherworldly events, the very real threat of social instability rose, the Empire put a ban on any news circulating to the western lands about these incidents in the eastern reaches.
The Kievan-Rus response from the capital was that of a parent having to check under the bed of their child for the boogeyman, whatever was happening out there was most likely mass hysteria. As the Muscovy Academy of Natural Sciences informed them, the combination of the impact event and its infrastructural consequences must have shaken up some of the less educated and simple minded folk of the frontier. These superstitious people must have gotten themselves worked up into a mass panic. The Academy was certain of this, all the Empire would need to do is send an engineering corp to assist the local garrisons in repairing whatever infrastructure that must have gone down with the impact. After all they had recently received an update from “Doctor Chikov” in which he reports all is well in the region, the survey team had secured the impact site and they would kindly request the assistance of a select few of the Academy's head luminaries in investigating the site. This was a request the Academy gladly fulfilled, this brain trust would set out before the end of the month, ahead of the slowly organizing engineer corp.
On the Frontier of the Empire, the slow actions and seemingly dismissive attitude of the Empire officials would only increase the unrest felt by the people. Once it became apparent that the state would not act, the locals needed to take action into their own hands. Many towns and outposts in the Frontier Regions lacked proper garrisons, as such the common folks made militias. They would keep watch at night as the strange lights kept dancing above their heads and the voices grew more numerous in the distance. As for the garrisons that did operate within the frontier, they too would begin to report cases of high strangeness.
Even with additional reports of high strangeness coming in from the frontier garrisons, the process was delayed due to a shortage of up to date supplies, this needed to be sorted first. That was the progress of the engineer corps, but the news of the growing militia moments did gain a reaction from the Empire, they quickly mobilized one corps of the Central Ruthenian Army to the region. They would reach the frontier in mid April, the Corp of 40,000 strong would be divided into 4 divisions of 10,000 between the major towns and roads connecting them across the frontier. One of the members of the Academy's brain trust would be encountered by a patrol near the town of Shevski, he would be described as unhinged, cut, bruised, and raving mad by the soldiers that found him. When asked what had happened to him and his fellow scholars, he would claim that they had been taken by the “Dream”, he would barely escape this thing, stumbling into a town some miles ahead, the locals would beat him and spit on him. Blaming his ilk for the Curse returning to these lands, before he could be taken for further questioning he slit his own throat with a shard of glass he had been clenching on too with a death grip.
As September grew to a close, the situation in the frontier had rapidly deteriorated, the “Nezhit” had launched several attacks across the lands, targeting anything that was in their path. With the fall of Shevski in mid September marking a critical point failure for the Kievan-Rus Empire, a significant portion of the Divisions sent to defend the Frontier had been killed during the fighting with many more retreating to the recently completed Yenisei River fortification Line. General Volkov of the Central Ruthenian Army would coin the name “Kiber-Tvar” (Cyber-Beast) for the enemy forces. The Ruthenian forces would try their best to hold the line against the Kiber-Tvar, but in a battle of attrition they could not beat the Kiber-Tvar, as for each Ruthenian that fell one more Kiber-Tvar was created, and unless completely destroyed the Kiber-Tvar simply reanimated the bodies.
With news reaching Muscovy, it became apparent that they would have to concede the eastern half of the frontier region, as the Kamchatka Division was heavily outnumbered and under supplied. The Tsar Alexander called it a sacrificial maneuver, the “Kiber-Tvar” would face strong opposition on the Yenisei River, as such it would stand to reason that it would rather take the rest of the east, with it being a softer target, giving the west time to further mobilize, understand, and dig in for the fight to come. General Kozlov of the Western Ruthenian Army saw the logic in his Tsar's plan, but they shouldn't simply abandon the people of the eastern frontier and coast. Instead he drafted a plan that would allow as many refugees to flee westwards, and slowly concede to the Kiber-Tvar eastwards. His argument was simple: They would need as much manpower as possible, and the enemy seemed to thrive off their losses, so it is best to try and deny them as much as possible.
The Tsar agreed with his General Kozlov, approving Operation Cocytus, the main objective would be to attempt to keep two corridors open for safe passage from east to west. One up north and one down south, the corridors would gradually close in on themselves as the Kiber-Tvar gained ground. The Tsar would also enact a new law, strengthening the border guards, and mandating the mass conscription of able bodied men, it would also be forbidden for any Ruthenian to leave the Empire at this time. Foreign embassies would be forced to close and leave immediately as well.
With the arrival of fall and the continuous fighting against the Kiber-Tvar, the situation was at a critical point for the Kievan-Rus Empire. Operation Cocytus was proceeding at the expected rate, the Kiber-Tvar seemingly preferring to attack easier targets overall. General Volkov would suggest asking for foreign aid from the Rhinelanders, Americans, the Arashi, or more importantly their supposed allies in the west, the Englican Kingdom and Frankish Republic. It was quickly shot down, as much help as these foreigners could be, their aid would come with multiple strings attached and the Triple Alliance was made specifically as a defensive pact against the Rhinelanders, so there could be no help for free expected from the Englicans or Franks. The Ruthenians would have to stand on their own.

With the defeat at the hands of the Americans and their allies in the Kamchatka peninsula, the Master Mind of the Eastern Kair has had to withdraw from further actions against them in that sector.
As other matters are presenting themselves just south of its Locus of control. The affiliated Yangtze People's Progress Army needs assistance against its remaining southern rival of the Yangtze Republic. As such forces will be deployed to aid the Utopianism sympathizers. As for further plans on Kamchatka, they will be put on hold as the Eastern Kair consolidate their power and reevaluates the American’s Strategies, the Central Master Mind has already begun the process of deploying a new weapon that can cripple the all seeing American eyes in the sky, a Satellite killer. Preparations for the manufacturing of these units will commence shortly in the Blood Labs Utopian Factory.
A core tenet of the Kiber-Tvar experimentation, it will be required for future success, Dr. Chikov has finalized the construction of a new form of Hematological manipulation. With the good doctor being sent to Kyzail, the Blood Labs have been left to Surgeon Vera to oversee the further developments of the Hematology assets. American special forces have begun to conduct several probing operations into the parameters of the labs, an attack is likely to come shortly after. The information and units being produced in the Blood Labs are far too valuable to be lost to the Americans, they are curious to see into Pandora's box, otherwise they would have already bombed the facility from orbit. They can not be allowed to take the facility.

Located near what once was central Ruthenia, the Free City of Kyzail has been spared from the horrors of the Kiber-Tvar, as the region in which it is located is an anomalous zone that disrupts the Kiber-Tvar communication system, effectively severing the strings from their puppets. Although the exact reason is not fully understood, locals assert that Kyzail was founded on an ancient religious site, a Leyline known to the ancients. It has become a point of interest for the Master Mind of the Southern Kair, it has requested the expertise of Dr. Chikov to investigate the area and retrieve the anomalous Red Witch. A Omen-class Cognition user that managed to escape recycling with their minds unaffected by the Utopian Dream, they were able to be constantly tracked, until they entered the Kyzail Leyline zone.
“Humanity's greatest adversary to achieving a utopian dream is its own independence, autonomy, and concept of self. The only way in which true equality can be reached is by the removal of such a volatile and contentious element. Through careful observations and study, the Master Mind had come to a single conclusion: mankind would have to be saved from itself; willingly or forcibly, they would be integrated into the Utopian Dream.
The body is merely disposable and reusable flesh; it holds little overall value to the Utopian Dream. It is reshaped and used to create new forms to aid its endeavors to unify mankind and create The Utopian ideal. As the Kiber-Tvar spread farther from the initial Tunguska impact site, they would eventually encounter the immense boon of the Fleshscape towards the southern ends of the Yangtze kingdoms. Although the Kiber-Tvar would soon come to realize that the Fleshscape was not an unthinking growth that they could easily harvest for more biomass, it would turn out to be an entity much akin to itself, thus an enemy to be exterminated.
As humanity fought back ever more effectively, it had to make more rapid adjustments, leading to the development of the Master Mind Kair. They could make quicker changes to counter humanity's efforts, as well as spreading out the administrative load, allowing the Central Mind to focus on the overall goal of the Utopian Dream.Yet this has come with an unexpected development, due to the way command is distributed now, different Master Minds have begun to form an ember of individuality, be it from the threats they face or the obstacles they encounter in their designated regions. Furthermore, humanity has become ever more adept at targeting the Master Minds, thus disrupting and crippling the Kiber-Tvar massively at times.
As time goes on, there seem to be more cracks in the foundation of the Utopian Dream, as the size of the operation and the opposition seems to be straining the monolithic, single-minded front that it was meant to be, giving way to something oddly more and more human in nature.”
Digiphrenia
The first signs of a Kiber-Tvar incursion, they spread a disruptive signal that interferes with Digital systems. Causing them to malfunction and produce strange and unexpected errors. A lot is still not understood about Digiphrenia, as it is able to interfere with digital technology observing affected areas from afar. The strength of Digiphrenia seems limited to the Low Earth Orbit.
Locus and Factories
It had largely been assumed that the Kiber-Tvar are a hive mind, one completely alien in construction and unintelligible to our understanding. We have pinpointed two possible “Locus” one currently more tangible than the other. First being that the “Factories” that emit the Digiphrenia signal that scrambles our technology and causes minor psychological effects on people exposed to it for prolonged periods, also serve the function of commanding the Kiber-Tvar masses. This is believed to be the case, as it has been observed that Kiber-Tvar brought to the Alaskan Blacksites, enter a dormant state, in which they are functionally dead, furthermore, the Kiber-Tvar seem to slow down their pushes until Factories are constructed partially. The proposal that “Engels” also serve a similar role have been speculated, but we have not been able to observe this or test this in any way.
In 1907 A.D. a mysterious object fell to Earth in early February. It crashed deep within the Raka Forest area, near the Tunguska River, its impact would be felt across the whole of the old continent, with seismic readings reaching even the Americas. The Kievan-Rus Empire would dispatch a small survey team led by Captain Vasily and Doctor Chikov. Preparations would move slowly with nearly a fortnight passing before the survey team departed the capital city of Muscovy, much to the frustration of Doctor Chikov and his research team. It would take them a further week to travel across the vast lands of the Empire, arriving at the lumber town or Rakastok near the forest in which the object fell. They would be welcomed by a ghost town.
The state of the town would be the final message that Doctor Chikov would send out before he and the survey team would disappear. The Muscovy Academy of Natural Sciences would receive the message one week after it was written, they would not suspect anything truly odd until it was too late.
By late May the engineer corps promised to the frontier to assist the rebuild of the damaged infrastructure had never arrived. The Empire had redirected them and their efforts to fortifying several regions of central Ruthenia, in preparation for a possible “civil war” within the Kievan-Rus Empire. This was merely the pretense, as the higher ups within the Empire had become aware that something truly abhorrent was occurring in the frontier. The whole Central Ruthenian Army and the Kamchatka Regional Guard had been set to be fully mobilized.
A rough profile of what was happening had been formed by the testimonials of soldiers and locals within the region. An object had crashed down to Earth, locals of Rakastok that had gone to investigate it had gone missing, the same fate would befall most of the inhabitants of the town, only the few that had left earlier survived, but not unscathed. Many of them reported hearing the voices of dead loved ones and a strange presence looming over them, the town or outposts these individuals would end up staying would begin to experience similar incidents. The Survey would arrive, vanishing shortly after too, the message that was sent a month later by “doctor Chikov” was not logged anywhere, nor was there any evidence that the brain trust had made it to Rakastok either, the team sent to investigate Rakastok would note that most of the luggage and equipment was left unopened and untouched.
By July the amount of strange incidents had sharply increased all across the frontier, spreading in a radius from the impact site. Those that lived closer to the impact site reported seeing physical manifestation of deceased loved ones attempting to enter their homes, asking them to come out with them and join them in the “Utopian Dream”. It is not known what happened to those that accepted the offer. Many had already In the last week of June abandoned their homes, making their way westwards. Both civilians and soldiers would report encounters with “Nezhit” the undead, unlike the manifestation, these undead would violently attack and attempt to forcibly take people away.
One would be “killed” and sent to the Muscovy Academy for inspection, the body would be described as being in a late stage of decay, with several pieces of highly advanced machinery weaving in and out of all parts of its body, a strange viscous red fluid running through the tubes and wires of the machinery. They were automated undead creatures, whose origins were clearly of foreign design. Speculation ran wild, some believed it was a weapon from the Vulnerate Age, others claimed it must have been an experiment from the Americans or even the Rhinelanders, or was it truly the return of the blight that had given the frontier its old moniker of Heaven's Curse.
Despite the best efforts of the Empire to keep the horrifying details from spreading westward, with the arrival of the first refugee caravan, their stories would arrive too. Horrific accounts of families and entire communities vanishing from the face of the Earth, sightings of massive pale white heads watching in the skies, the death cackles that echoed throughout the night before the “Nezhit” arrived. They had many stories to tell of the dead walking again and of the “Engels” offering them the “Utopian Dream” as an escape from their bodies.
Published in the morning edition of the Ruthenian Star, a testimonial from the lone survivor from the small trade outpost of Miniya, a young woman by the name of Vera Popova. She lived with her family, her parents owned the local trade store, she would help them with it. She and her two brothers and three sisters would help out around the store and the small farm they had. It was sometime in April, it was late and the sky was clear, she looked up and saw the stars. Two very bright ones stood out to her, she thought they looked out of place, like they hadn't been there before. She looked at them and they blinked, she brushed off as her eyes playing tricks on her, she must have just been very tired that day.
Knocks awoke her in the middle of the night, something was knocking on her window. It had to be a branch from the tree outside, it wouldn't have been the first time that the wind blew the tree branches at her window. Yet something wasn't right, she felt compelled to look outside, she did. She saw her family outside, all of them were there and in front of them was a massive white face. It had a toothy smile and yellow eyes, it was talking to her family, but it stopped. Her heart stopped for a sec, as her family all turned around to look at her, eyes blank. A voice came to her, saying “come out and join us, in the Utopian Dream.” The creature was a “Engel” according to itself, it was a divine agent of the Dream, it was here to help, it unhinged its jaw and let it hit the floor. One by one Vera saw her family members walk into its mouth and vanish. She passed out, next thing she remembered was being carried out of her house by Ruthenian soldiers, they had come to check on the people of Miniya. They only found her. She joined a refugee caravan shortly after, she still claims to hear voices in the distance and sometimes when she looks up she still sees the two shining stars above.
This story was banned immediately, the Ruthenian Star was shut down shortly after, it is not known why they published this and other accounts. The journalists responsible for this were found and publicly hanged for breaking a direct law placed by the Tsar.
By the end of the year Operation Cocytus had been considered a success, a partial success as many lives were lost, but many more managed to make it to the relative safety of the Yenisei Line. The eastern reaches of the empire had been lost with the exception of the Kamchatka peninsula; it remained in the hands of the Kamchatka Guard forces who had managed to bottleneck the Kiber-Tvar forces, in no small part to the unexpected assistance of the American Supremacy Class Carrier “Appalachia” and its deployment of close air support in the form of F-15 EX and Ground support via Assault Cords. Functionally Kamchatka had fallen under the protection of the Americans.
The battles would rage on against the Kiber-Tvar across the Yenisei River, the Kieven-Rus Empire would fight on in a losing war of attrition for five years, and for three of those years they would be dragged into the Great Europan War, putting them in a grueling two front effort.
With rumors reaching the Europan nations of the instability and internal struggle of Kievan-Rus in what appeared to be a civil war, the ever ambitious Kaiser of the Rhinelans, Müller would prepare to launch a war of dominance against the Rhines continental rivals. By 1909 A.D. the Great Europan War would break out, justified by the untimely assassination of a Ostrolander Duke by a Balkan radical, the stage was set for intervention by the Rhinelanders. This was denounced by the Franks which would bring the two Europan nations to open warfare.
In June of 1912 A.D. Kaiser Müller marched his army unopposed through the streets of the capital of the Kievan-Rus, Muscovy, he was welcomed with open arms by the Ruthenian people. They had overthrown their Tsar, his body still hanging from the gates of Muscovy, wrapped in a white flag of surrender. He had refused all the pleas of his people, of his advisors, and generals. He had grown paranoid and mad, snapping at anyone for the slightest perceived gripe. He began to demand more and more obedience, as the public executions grew, the people grew more resentful of him. When the Ruthenian army dropped their arms and allowed the Rhinelanders in, it marked the end of the Kievan-Rus Empire. The rest of Europa would have to pick up the pieces left behind as the Kiber-Tvar hordes threatened to flood pass the Ural Mountains.
January of 1925
The Master Mind of the Eastern Kair would attempt to launch an invasion of the Kamchatka peninsula, against the United States of the Americas, Englican Allies, and the Kamchatka Democratic Republic led by Commander Autumns.
The United States would deploy three Marine Expeditionary Brigades to defend Kamchatka, making up the bulk of the defender with 60,000 men strong. The Englicans would deploy a light auxiliary unit of Elite Exorcists, specialized infantry capable of utilizing Cognition abilities, as well as a Coven of Hexan Witches to further bolster the Coalition's Cognition capabilities, in total 2,200 Englicans were deployed. As for the Kamchatka guards it is estimated that they had a force of 12,000, which was about a quarter of the total population of Kamchatka Democratic Republic. As a whole the Coalition forces numbered at 74,200 strong.
The Master Mind of the Eastern Kair, had brought a Tide of approximately 200,000 Mass Manufactured Units and an estimated 60,000 specialized Constructs, an extremely formidable force.
American Geoorbital Satellites had picked up on an anomalously huge Kiber-Tvar tide forming and moving towards the Kamchatka peninsula. Upon examination it was evident that they were attempting another invasion of the Kamchatka peninsula. An attempt to disperse the tide via MEO Bombardments and Assault Cord Stormlance missions, failed to break the cohesion and momentum of the tide despite successfully eliminating tens of thousands of targets, per Bombardment and Stormlance runs.
With the attack looming closer the Americans had prepared a kill zone for the incoming mass, funneling them into a bottleneck in which their numbers would prove a detriment to them, while the Assault Cords did Stormlance runs on the Kiber-Tvar artillery backline assisted by Wet-Drive enhanced Close Air Support.. Although the plan did have the risk of the Kiber-Tvar managing to break through the defenders it would put the peninsula in grave danger.
Kamchatka is vital for the Americans North Pacific Defensive and Reclamation Plans, as it serves as a buffer zone against the Kiber-Tvar and the Alaskan homefront. Well also being the perfect staging ground for any operations within Kiber-Tvar controlled territories.
The Coalition forces would manage to hold the Kiber-Tvar back, breaking the red tide like a wave against a rock. Although casualties were suffered, they made the Kiber-Tvar pay for each one tenfolds, Commander Autumns would ensure that no American or allied bodies were taken by the Kiber-Tvar for recycling. No soldier's body deserves to be desecrated by the Kiber-Tvar vile machinery.
Once a notable researcher in the Muscovy Academy of Natural Sciences. He was amongst the first to encounter the object in Tunguska. As part of the initial Kievan-Rus survey team, he willingly volunteered to see the object that fell from the heavens. He was right to assume it was more than just a mere rock as many of his colleagues had suggested. It would bring about a utopian dream, one that he would want to share with the rest of his colleagues of the Muscovy Academy.
When he next came too, he felt lighter, much lighter. His head had been separated from his body, he could see it being opened and experimented on by strange mechanical appendages, he did not feel fear. For he knew that it was all part of the Utopian Dream, the ideal reality, as another machine operated on his open cranium. A voice came to him and the machines halted, he was considered valuable to the Dream. Given a new body and a clear purpose Doctor Chikov continues his passion for discovery.
The result of Dr. Chikov's experiments on several Warwitch corpses, by using the information gained from the bodies and implementing the nano particle swarm technologies used by Sandman, he has been able to make a facsimile of "Magic". Hematology, the manipulation of Blood, the first of this new form of Warwitch is Vera. Her body was reconstructed, improved, far beyond anything that it was before the Utopian Dream.
She has been left in charge of the experimental factory that Dr. Chikov operates from, with him operating in Kyzail, she will have to deal with the encroaching American Special Forces and their probing attacks.
Once a Warwitch that served the Kievan-Rus Empire and later on the Rhinelans Reich, she was among the first to experience the nightmares of the Utopian dream, prior to her enlisting. She would unfortunately be killed sometime during the numerous battles between the Rhine and the Kiber-Tvar.
The Madman of the Kiber-Tvar. From what little information we have managed to find of him prior to his transformation, Vissarion was a criminal sent to one of the many prison camps in Central Siberia by the Kievan-Rus Empire at the turn of the 20th century. His crimes were apparently related to the subversion of the good moral fiber of the people of the Empire, by promoting witchcraft and anti establishment rhetoric, as well as several charges of arson and even serial murder. He was about to be hanged in the town of Shevski, but the Tunguska impact shockwave gave him an opening to escape. He would eventually re-emerge, dressed and acting like a commander in the Kievan army, leading Kiber-Tvar operations against the Rot Defensive Line of the Schwarzwald.
Notably, he seems to have a body grafted to his head, It has been assumed that the body belonged to a Omen-class Cognition User. No doubt that Yuri is an experiment by Doctor Chikov to harness Cognition powers for the Kiber-Tvar.
An advanced infiltration unit developed by the Utopian Dream to have a high degree of autonomy, but in exchange, the Sandman has several systems in place to ensure his loyalty. Key among them is his reactor core; if he does not return to an established contact zone with a Kiber-Tvar Synapse, it will detonate, killing him instantly.
He is not a singular being, he was a person once, but no more, there are multiple Sandmans in the world. From the lands of the Baroque Empire, the Visigothic Iberia, the Yangtze lands, even deep within the Americas. He is out there spreading the virtues of Utopianism and the escape from the material world through the dream.
Is a possible Omen-class individual. This is based on conjecture, as her resilience to the Kiber-Tvar Repurposing Process could have been influenced by other external factors, though this is also speculative. What is known for certain is that she had been free of their control even before entering the Kyzail Leyline zone. She is an interesting anomaly that has drawn the attention of the Americans, Schwarzwald, and the Kiber-Tvar.
The mass of the red tide, the countless bodies reanimated by the collective dream of utopia. They are crudely reanimated bodies armed with sharp arm blades to cut through their enemies. During the initial months of the Kiber-Tvar invasion of the Kievan-Rus, the Ruthenian people referred to them as the Nezhit, a local term for undead creatures.
Mass Manufactured Units
“The “Corpse Thralls” and the recycling of biomass by the enemy. From observations, the “Kiber-Tvar” will reuse a body that is at the very least 40% intact, once the biomass is below this threshold they appear to reuse it in other ways. Either pulverizing it into a fluid used by larger constructs, or reuse it in the construction of new larger forms. As noted via several encounters with them, they only care for the raw biomass, regardless of what body part has been lost, until the 40% threshold is not crossed, they will continue to reuse them as Corpse Thralls.”
The Corpsemen are experimental units under the supervision of Dr. Chikov. They have been allowed a degree of autonomy that makes the Utopian Dream uncomfortable, but it would seem necessary for future operations in areas out of the influence of the Master Minds.
These things are made rather crudely, with the head removed in place of an Anti-tank weapon, specifically expendable single fire weapons. Other variants come in the form of taller quad setups, in which the head has completely been removed, alongside the arms, in place of it a massive optical organ is set within the chest and on each side it features two Anti-Armor weapons. Once fired the Thrall sheds the expended weapon(s), and charges at anything in front of it.
Specialized Thralls that operate within the radioactive cores of the Kiber-Tvar Factories, they are in charge of disposing of the waste. Despite their lowly station they are still heavily armed and capable of being a real danger.
Kiber-Tvar abominations are created by grafting several damaged Mangler corpses. The Centaur is an abomination whose only purpose is to crash into enemy positions, soaking up as much fire as possible and allowing the lesser forms to pour in behind them.
Unlike other Kiber-Tvar forces, the Tower heads have demonstrated a larger degree of autonomy and more troubling tactical awareness. They have been seen engaging in small squad tactics against fortified positions. The only thing that seems to severely hamper them is their “head”. The original head has been completely removed, furthermore the spinal cord has also been replaced, on examination only traces of brain matter are left within the metallic tower like head. Despite the armor, this has proven an excellent and easily targeted weakness.
Reused from the corpses of Kievan-Rus Shock Troopers, they now serve the Utopian Dream breaching and clearing out any pocket of resistance. All will eventually break.
Specialized Equipment Units
“On the Corpse Crushers, Corpse Pilers, and the enemies biomechanical constructs. The Kiber-Tvar use not only human biomass in their constructs, but also our machinery and weaponry. Corpse Crushers are made from the remains of tanks, the general body plan the Kiber-Tvar seem to follow for these constructs is a crab like form. Armored legs and two massive pincers, the construct still has the capacity to fire the weapons of the vehicle used to create it. More notable is the head-like growth, a trait that it shares with the Corpse Piler and other forms similar to it. Upon examination it has been noticed that it is a false head, a decoy. As any brain tissue or vital mechanical component is located deep within the core of the construct. Corpse Pilers are created from artillery platforms, much like the Corpse Crusher they too feature six limbs and a false head, but they are noticeably lacking the front pincers. It is highly recommended to focus fire on the core of these constructs.”
The Armor Hunters, bizarre repurposing that stalk the urban rubble and the grasslands of Heaven's Curse, are often found escorted by two or more Kiber-Tvar Corpsemen.
As the armor of the Americans and Rhinelanders punched through the Kiber-Tvar initial meat waves, it seemed as though they had no answer to the armored fist of the Coalition, until the Lurchers appeared on the battlefield. Made from anti-tank guns, these abominations are the bane of Coalition armor.
Maxim guns and their crews have been repurposed to cut down the enemies of the Utopian Dream by scurrying around the battlefields.
Corpse Piler, old weaponry of the Kievan-Rus army reused by the Kiber-Tvar. The crews of the artillery pieces have taken on a new life dedicated wholeheartedly to their one duty in un-life, raining down fire on the enemies of the Utopian dream.
An in-between of the Corpse Piler and the Corpse Crusher, having 8 total limbs, the front and back pair are heavily armored made of a similar material to that of the Corpse Crusher's pincers; the central 6 limbs end in nublike stumps. It features a seemingly underdeveloped fake head, much smaller than that of the aforementioned Piler and Crusher types.
Repurposed war machines for the achievement of the Utopian Dream, these abominations move across the battlefield at a shocking speed, driving their devastating crushing claws into any fortifications or armored vehicles they can get close to, in search of the flesh within.
Alien in design, grotesque in function, the Corpse Snatchers float around battlefields collecting bodies, new or already used. These things carry them off to be processed into something useful for the Utopian Dream.
Perhaps the greatest current threat that the Kiber-Tvar have managed to develop, the Sputnik is an object that is able to operate in low earth orbit. This thing poses a true threat to American satellites and space infrastructure projects, as well as the American Jets that have for the longest time enjoyed an unmatched dominance of the skies across the world. As the Sputnik is capable of firing off high precision lasers from its eye-like growths to shoot down any jet it is able to see.
“The biomunition used by the Piler and Stormer, are made of a hard outer shell that fragments upon impact, it contains an extremely acidic compound that is capable of melting armor and human bodies alike.”
First observed near the Ural defensive line, these constructs appear to be created from Helicopters, they appear to be almost like a hermit crab settling into a shell. The construct appears to nearly always have 6 limbs, 4 of them are long and spider-like, the 2 front ones appear uncannily to be human, grotesquely elongated and much too large for a normal person. More troubling is their ability to fly, using the rotor blades present on the structure of the Helicopter.
A strange creature created from the aircrafts captured by the Kiber-Tvar, have been morphed into living biomechanical monstrosities. They resemble massive pterodactyls encased in an aircraft shell. As they fly above the battlefield they swoop down and let out a horrifying shriek before attempting to consume anything in the way of their massive jaws.
Created from the left over anti-air weaponry of the Kievan-Rus Empire, the Crawlers are a danger for any aircraft attempting any low close air support, but they pose little threat to anything flying at a high enough altitude. The Kiber-Tvar also uses them against ground targets as well.
Super Soldier Units
“The Slaughtermensch, on the enemy and new types of constructs. It would appear that the Kiber-Tvar upon meeting unexpected resistance begin to formulate new types of constructs to deal with our ever evolving strategies. This is an alarming development, but not one unexpected, we are in a technological arms race against them. We must continue our efforts to understand and surpass the Kiber-Tvar.
The Slaughtermensch, a 10 ft tall behemoth of a construct. It is the Kiber-Tvar's version of a super soldier, leading charges into our defensive lines and pulverizing anything that gets in the way of its two grinding maul-like arms. It is surprisingly fast for its size and can take a tremendous amount of punishment, it has also been reported to liquify and consume its victims on the spot, seemingly using them as some sort of biofuel.”
Created by the Kiber-Tvar from the desecrated remains of fallen Panzermensch and Magnolian warriors, the hulking biomechanical horrors would be their answer to the Rhinelanders on the Apocalyptic Eastern Front. First reported by forward scouting units prior to Operation Lothair, it was assumed that the massive figures seen marching alongside the Kiber-Tvar dredge were simply bigger constructs, this was somewhat correct, although the details of what they were wouldn't become apparent until the fighting began.
They proved to be a significant threat in the battlefield, able to punch their way through most of the Coalition's defenses, only being stopped by concentrated fire from armored units and artillery. The Panzermensch's bolt artillery proved to be exceptionally useful too, as it was able to soften up the Slaughtermensch enough to allow even infantry fire to take them down. Needless to say even as of now, a Slaughtermensch still requires a team effort to bring down.
Created from the corpse of a Kievan-Rus shockman, they are a stopgap that is rapidly being phased out in favor of the Slaughtermensch. They are becoming a rarity to see on the battlefield, as even before the creation of the Slaughtermensch, the Shockmen were not a numerous force; thus, the Killmensch are far less so.
A special variant of the Killmensch, created by the Southern Kair Master Mind, unlike the normal Killmensch, these ones feature an Obelisk in place of their head. They also appear to be far less grotesque than the standard Killmensch.
“Kyzail Leyline Zone, which the Kiber-Tvar have avoided as the signal connecting the Utopian Dream seems unable to reach them there. Many early types of Kiber-Tvar have ended up as feral creatures, regressing to animalistic or bizarrely repetitive habits. Unfortunately for the Kiber-Tvar, a recently and partially converted witch has managed to slip into the zone. Her importance is significant enough for the Utopian Dream to send an experimental unit led by Dr. Chikov with his radical and abhorrent idea: to give them a degree of autonomy.”
Floaters
Disembodied heads that were seemingly once Kiber-Tvar Snatcher drones.
Heralds
Strange fusions of men and horses, are of unknown Kiber-Tvar origin. They are not a common sight, but they always seem to appear before particularly harsh storms.
Drudger
Another anomalous entity that seems to not correlate with any currently known Kiber-Tvar type. Despite its appearance, it is nearly harmless and extremely fragile. It is often found scavenging remains.
Ratmen
Bizarre hybrids between rats and men. It is not known why the Kiber-Tvar would create such things. They are an extremely rare sight. Locals claim that the Ratmen keep to the old mining tunnels in the northern reaches of Kyzail.
