Mathematics:
We made a survey to collect people's answers, opinions and experiences on cyberbullying. We organised their answers using bar graphs and pie charts. We saw how many people have been cyberbullied and how many people have not. We also asked questions to know the perspective of the victim better. We also used mathematics when we counted our money to donate when we were selling cookies and stickers.
Writing:
We wrote persuasive texts to persuade people to take part in solving cyberbullying and to convince people to take action starting with the people around them. We each made our own and added it to our Action tab. Our goal is for people to be aware of bullying situations and know how to handle them. We also want people to start taking action if they have not tried doing one.
Music:
All grade 5 students are taking part in the opening ceremony of the Dreamers. Gia, Seira and Tiffany will play musical instruments in the ceremony. The song consists of various instruments. Some parts of the song are easy and some parts are hard. Febe and Kayla are joining the dance part of the song.
Art:
We made an invitation poster that explains the date of our PYP exhibition opening ceremony. The purpose of this invitation is to invite others to our PYP exhibition on May 25 - 26. We designed the invitation with our own creativity and imagination. We used Canva to create the poster. We worked together to make the poster looked nice and to finish faster.
Dance:
The dancers of the group (Febe and Kayla) will dance to the Dreamers for the opening ceremony of our PYP exhibition. All of us also made a dance/play about media during our dance class. Though it is not about cyberbullying, it still connects to our PYP exhibition because we are in the same group and the theme is also media. The dance is made of complicated steps but also easy moves.
