The Genesis Social Welfare Foundation was founded in 1986 by Mr. Cao Qing (曹慶). It cares for people in a vegetative state, bedridden patients, and elderly people with disabilities or dementia. The foundation provides 24-hour care and helps people understand the importance of long-term care. With support from donations and volunteers, it improves the lives of many families and plays an important role in Taiwan’s care system.
You may donate adult diapers to help patients in a persistent vegetative state who are receiving care in the foundation’s facilities.
You can also be volunteers to support the foundation in several meaningful ways. They may participate in street campaigns to encourage the public to donate receipts, assist with administrative and clerical tasks based on the organization’s needs, and help with general duties at charity sales booths during community or school events.
