Internships

We are currently in the process of updating our internship program. We are willing to work with you to meet your school's internship, independent study, or practicum requirements. Here's some basic information to get you started.

What is the difference between a counselor and an intern?

• Interns will be assigned a mentor, and meet on weekly basis to discuss goals and progress.

• Interns will complete an end of summer project.

• Interns will have 2 hours a week written into their schedule to specifically work on internship materials for their school or their end of a summer project, as needed.

Depending on the position, internship placements can last between 8 to 11 weeks. Interns can log about 60 hours a week. Some additional hours may be available in the late spring, to assist with camp preparation.
