Room, board, and laundry facilities provided for residential staff
Flexible scheduling - can work part of the summer or the full summer
Saturdays off (except during pre-camp training), and July 4th off; Friday nights after 6 PM off (except during pre-camp training)

Director Level Positions

Responsible for supporting unit staff in behavioral management and camper concerns, check in and check out logistics, staff meetings, staff training, and unit support. Supervises unit leaders.

Responsible for the overall organization of the Health Center, including the organization of health forms and Health Center inventory. Supervises the Health Specialists. Reports to the external GSCNC Executive Health Director and the Camp Director.
21+, current driver's license; nursing/medical student or EMT certification required, RN preferred; current first aid and adult & child CPR certifications

Responsible for inclusion at camp and overseeing teen leadership programs like Junior Counselor and Counselor-in-Training. Supervises the Inclusion Specialist and Junior Counselors.

Responsible for all camp programming and scheduling, ensuring activities meet goals and objectives. Supervises the Aquatics Manager and Program Specialists.

Responsible for keeping campers and staff safe by teaching swimming lessons, organizing pool games, and lifeguarding at the pool and conduct and run safe boating sessions (canoe and kayak) at Trefoil Pond. When not lifeguarding or on time off, they assume the role of a unit counselor. Report to the Aquatics Manager.
18+, current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or ability to pass ARC training at start of employment, experience with canoeing or kayaking strongly preferred

Responsible for overall health care and ensuring all care is administered in accordance with licensing protocols and our Health Care Plan. Reports to the Health Director.

Assigned to lead a different group of campers each week and participates in activities with the campers, such as swimming at the pool, trying archery, or hiking. Supervise unit counselors. Unit Leader positions are only open to returning camp staff members. Unit Counselors will have the opportunity to interview for a unit leader position during staff training.
