Phase 3: Classroom experiences 

The teacher taught the units in four schools. 

On average, a unit was 2 to 3 days long and 2 class periods (of about 40 min) each day. All the teachers made some adjustments to their class schedules and locations (some classes were conducted in computer labs).

In total, about 180 students participated in the CTSI classes. We talked to some students about their learning experiences with this method. Teachers also shared with us their experiences and their perceptions of the student experiences.
