為肯定各參賽隊伍指導教師的辛勞付出，並鼓勵指導教師們加入「臺灣高中思辨與英語論辯推廣計畫」（以下簡稱本計畫）的行列，共同為擴展臺灣高中英語辯論比賽的參賽版圖而努力，本計畫於2021年首度加入「英語辯論最佳指導教師」選拔，2023年該獎項正式更名為「全國高級中等學校英語辯論比賽指導教師貢獻獎」，凡參加2024北中南英語辯論比賽區域賽隊伍的指導教師皆具角逐資格。（註：已獲獎之教師不具選拔資格） 

To commend the hard work of high school English debate coaches and to encourage them to join forces with “National High School Critical Thinking and English Debate Promotion Project” (hereon as “The Promotion Project”), the “English Debate Coach of the Year” Award was first introduced in 2021. Coaches who participate in the 2024 National High School English Debate Regional Tournaments sponsored by the Ministry of Education are all eligible to compete for the award. (Note: Coaches who have already received this award are not eligible to apply.) 

申請人可針對過去一年至數年於校內外推廣英語辯論所付出的努力、所做出的貢獻與所累積的成就進行主客觀的陳述並提供相關證明。我們同時也移除原有項目的配分，主辦單位將依據申請人的論述內容與證明，決定本年度獲獎者。 

Coaches who want to apply for the award can list the efforts they paid, the contributions they made, and/or the accomplishments they had in promoting and advocating English debate in local high schools in the past one to several years. The points originally allocated to different criteria are also removed. The Tournament Organizer will choose the awardees solely based on their descriptions and attached proofs. 

「英語辯論指導教師貢獻獎」申請人為可列舉之評選項目包含（但不限此列）:

• 連續數年指導學生參加全國高中英語辯論比賽

• 在112學年（2023年）和/或113學年（2024年）全國高中英語辯論比賽中同時指導隊伍參加政策性與公共論壇型賽事 

• 所指導隊伍於112學年度和/或之前區域賽（全國賽）中獲得團體獎和/或個人獎 

• 112學年度和/或之前指導學生參加其他英語辯論比賽

• 112學年度和/或之前參加英語辯論研習和/或英語辯論訓練計畫藉以提升英語辯論指導能力

• 112學年度和/或之前曾擔任校內外講者介紹英語辯論

• 112學年度和/或之前成立英辯社團或擔任英辯社團指導教師

• 112學年度和/或之前開設英辯課程

• 112學年度和/或之前安排賽前跨校友誼賽

• 112學年度和/或之前他校結盟為英辯伙伴學校

• 引薦或協助從未參加本推廣計畫所辦賽事之學校成為112學年和/或之前區域賽之參賽隊伍  

Following are some (but not limited to those) contributions and accomplishments that can be listed for consideration: 

• Coached teams to participate in the National High School English Debate Tournament for several years in a row

• Coached/Coaching teams for both policy and public forum debates in the 2023 and/or 2024 National High School English Debate Tournament

• Team coached winning a team or an individual award in the 2024 or past regional (national) competition

• Coaching students for other debate tournaments in 2024 or before

• Participated in debate workshops and/or debate training programs to elevate one’s knowledge and abilities as a coach

• Invited to speak on English debate in 2024 or before

• Established and/or supervised/supervising English debate club in 2024/or before

• Offering/Offered English debate courses in 2024 and/or before

• Arranged interscholastic debate practice in 2024 and/or before

• Formed coalitions or partnerships with other schools in 2024 and/or before

• Recruited or assisted new schools to compete in the 2024 and/or past regional competition

凡有意願參選之指導教師（或有願意推舉指導教師競選的同學或教師），請填寫下頁表格，並於所參加之區域賽結束後七天內將表格與相關證明寄至計畫信箱（ctndebate@gmail.com）。主辦單位將根據申請人在各評選項目上所列之紀錄與證明，給予評分，擇優選出2024學年度「英語辯論指導教師貢獻獎」獲獎人。 

Coaches who would like to apply (or debaters/other teachers who would like to nominate your coaches), please fill out the application form on the last page, and send it to the project at ctndebate@gmail.com within 7 days in the wake of the regional tournament. The tournament organizer, i.e., the Department of English, National Taiwan Normal University, will then review the applications, verify the proofs, and select coaches to be the recipients of the 2024 “English Debate Coach of the Year” Award. 

「2024年全國高級中等學校英語辯論比賽—全國賽」舉辦之兩週前，主辦單位臺師大英語系將於「臺灣高中思辨與英語論辯推廣計畫」官網公布獲獎名單，若獲獎人為高中教師，主辦單位亦將行文通知獲獎人服務學校。獲獎教師名單與簡介亦將於2024年6月1日全國賽閉幕式時，以簡報形式與在場師生分享，亦竭誠歡迎獲獎教師親臨全國賽閉幕式現場受獎。 

The results will be posted two weeks prior to the 2024 National Tournament on the official website of the National High School Critical Thinking and English Debate Promotion Project. An official missive will also be sent to the awardee’s school if he or she is a high school teacher. A brief introduction, via a slide presentation, of the awardee(s) will be shown to the tournament attendees at the closing ceremony. Awardee(s) are also welcome to personally receive the award certificate at the closing ceremony of the National Tournament on June 1, 2024.
