Olivia is in her fourth year on the faculty in the Bourne Public Schools, Bourne, MA, and is currently teaching 6th grade Science. In her leisure time, she loves spending time with her young son and her Boxer dogs, playing the cello as well as a variety of different sports, cooking, and playing board and card games. She grew up in Falmouth and has many fond memories of attending the Children’s School of Science. She hopes to create the same wonderful experiences for her students this year.
Margaret is a second year TA and is a CSS lifer. Margaret loves reading, snorkeling, and acting! She lives in Medford, MA and will be starting her freshman year at Tufts University this fall.
Although Margaret has taken and assisted in a multitude of CSS classes, Advanced Marine Biology was one of her favorites. "We’ve always been told we can’t go above our knees in CSS, so finally getting to dive in was so much fun."
Jackson is a first year TA (he was a runner last year) and is a CSS lifer. He plays a variety of sports including squash and baseball. Jackson also plays the trombone and piano and is part of his school’s robotics team.
One of Jackson's favorite CSS classes was the ROV class. "ROV sparked my interest in engineering and robotics. I loved creating and innovating a working robot that I could control myself in an actual body of water."
