Global research project

Overview

 The global research projected required two partners to gather information on two country's. It required creating both a word doc and a shared PowerPoint comparing both of the separate country's access to technology.

Location

Me and my partner choose Italy and Egypt. We thought it would be interesting to look into two Mediterranean climates. 

Fun Fact:  While researching for our language slide, I learned that there are over 30 different variations of Arabic.

Lessons learned

This project showed me a lot of new skills. Before completing the global research project I was unaware that you were able to citate text through power point. This skill is valuable for future projects and has set me up for my upcoming emerging tech assignment. Another skill I learned through this assignment is collaboration. My partner created the PowerPoint file and shared it with me. We both shared our word documents with each other and divide who did each slide to lesson each others work loads. In the end we created a cohesive project through listening to each others input and I find that very valuable.
