For this Project I had to find 2 example of cyber security attacks in recent months.
This article talks about cyberattack on Foster City that caused disruptions to the cities system. It was a ransomware attack where hackers targeted the government system and forced the government to shut systems down. This affected residents and workers who rely on services such as communication. The city declared a state of emergency. This could have been prevented if the system security was better and the employees had training.

This could have been prevented if the system security was better and the employees had training.

After doing this project, I learned how common cyberattacks are and how easily people and organizations can be affected. It showed me the importance of being careful online and protecting my personal information.
