Unit 0: Orientation & Introduction to Information Systems

Unit Highlights

Learned Terms like Information System CC, BCC, LMS and waffle.
Saw how the interface interacts with the user in different ways.
Learned what a Signature File is and how to make one.
Wrote a professional email to my instructor using the thing I learned throughout the unit such as Signature files and an important subject line.
Learned how attachments are used to share files and documents through email.
Learned that an Information System includes hardware, software, data, processes, and people.
Learned the difference between CC and BCC when sending emails.

Here I’m creating a rule in Outlook, which taught me how to automatically organize emails and manage my inbox efficiently.

Lesson Learned

This unit showed me common digital communication terms like information systems, CC, BCC, LMS, and Waffle. I learned how interfaces interact with users and how to create a signature file.
