Coursework, reflections, and projects from CSIT 101
Welcome all! This portfolio documents what I learn throughout the semester in CSIT 101. Each unit highlights new skills, tools, and ideas that I explored while learning about technology and information systems.
My name is Maia. I’m currently majoring in Radiography and working toward my goal of becoming an MRI technologist. I’m someone who loves learning new things, being creative, and finding ways to balance ambition with enjoying life. Whether I’m working on school projects, planning for my future career, or figuring things out one step at a time, I always try to put my best effort into everything I do. My goal is to build a successful career in healthcare while continuing to grow personally, professionally, and creatively along the way.
This class honestly taught me a lot more than I expected. I learned how to use different technology tools in a more professional way, especially through creating my ePortfolio, making presentations, and working on research projects. At the beginning of the semester, I struggled with a lot of the technical parts like uploading files correctly, formatting things, and figuring out different programs, but I definitely became more comfortable and independent as the class went on.
I also learned that technology is not always about knowing everything right away a lot of it is just being willing to troubleshoot, practice, and figure things out. This class helped me improve my organization, communication, and overall confidence with digital tools that I’ll probably use in future classes and my career.
