Mind mapping can be utilized in many ways. It can be for work purposes, goals, or finances. Regardless of the reason, they all have a common denominator, which many refer to as a central point or main idea. Using my map and application as an example, my central point was "complete pull-ups using pull-up bar" and the application of choice was draw.io. Creating your central point is the first step in completing a successful mind map. Your central point can be anything you desire, after all, it is your mind map. After this is completed, branch as many sub points off of your central idea that you need to be in progress or completed to reach that point. For me, it was diet, cardio, weight lifting, and time management. These are things that are necessary to have the strength compacity and time to complete pull-ups. For you, it will be different, but it must be effective, or the chances of achievement drop. You would then continue the sub-branch process until you feel that you've created enough in order to reach your central point. I hope you have fun mapping!
Have you ever been told that a file wasn't in the correct format when trying to send it to your recipient? Learning the difference can put you a step ahead for future encounters. The working file is just that, the file you are working on. Whether the application is Word, PowerPoint, or Paint, all can be converted into a file that is deliverable or preferred by your recipient. Let's take a Word document to use as an example. Your recipient may request your submission in PDF form. No, this isn't to make life harder for you; it's to ensure that the file is appropriate for both parties. A PDF file, for example, keeps the integrity of the recipient by making it almost impossible to edit. This benefits you as the sender as well, so your work isn't tampered with. So, with that being said, follow these simple steps below to change a Word document into PDF form.
Step 1: Create your Word document.
Step 2: Navigate to the quick access toolbar that is located towards the top of your Word application and select the option File.
Step 3: Using the drop-down menu from File, hover over the option Export.
Step 4: Hovering over Export will reveal another drop-down menu with the option to Download as PDF. Select that option.
Step 5: Once you've downloaded your PDF, it will be available for you to send wherever you need to, and that's it. I hope this helps!
