Gog / SP / DLX
Gog, SP ("Shocker Paintball"), and DLX can trace some of their roots to the now defunct "Smart Parts" - one of the old juggernauts of the paintball industry, and early pioneers of electropneumatic paintball markers.
Today, these three sister brands are responsible for some innovative and brilliant designs:
First and foremost, the Gog "Freak" Barrel System is possibly the most adaptable and affordable route to top-tier accuracy in paintball. "Freak" barrels come in all different lengths, and are threaded for a great variety of markers - but all use a common system of bore inserts to ensure perfect paint-to-barrel matching, no matter the paint size or conditions in play.
Freak Barrels have a traditional 5" control bore available, and are now available with the 8" "XL" bores for improved air efficiency!
There are three markers currently available from these brands:
Gog eNMEy (and eNMEy Pro)
The eNMEy Pro is an all-mechanical marker appropriate for new and casual players. It delivers truly impressive performance for its incredibly low price tag, and will be serviceable for many years.
Shocker AMP
The Shocker AMP delivers one of the best bargains in serious tournament paintball. With unrivaled lightness, reliable, efficient low-pressure operation, easy maintenance, a crystal-clear OLED display, stock Freak XL Barrel, and optional single-tool mechanical frame swap - the Shocker AMP delivers four-figure performance for a three-figure price.
Whether you are a tournament player looking for top-tier performance without draining your bank account, or a dedicated casual player looking for all the amenities and performance of a modern high-end, the AMP is often where this discussion begins and ends.
DLX Luxe TM-40
The Luxe TM-40 is possibly the best paintball marker ever created, period.
Reliability. Efficiency. Precision. Paint Handling. Shot quality. Ease of maintenance. Rate of Fire. Clear OLED display. Useful voice prompts. Stock Freak XL Barrel with durable, firmly locking, quick-release Impulse threads. Optional tool-less mechanical frame swap.
A few markers in the world may be able to match or exceed the TM-40's performance in one, perhaps two of these categories. A very small subset of high-end tournament markers come close in multiple categories. There is no marker - past or present - that exceeds the TM-40's performance across all of these categories.
