YouTube is an excellent resource for ready-to-share videos online. Using YouTube videos does not require much effort and space on your Google account. All you need to do is simply choose a video, copy and paste the link to the video onto your Google Sites page and you are good to go!
Step 1: Go to YouTube and choose a video that you would like to use on your Google Sites. For example:
Step 2: Copy the link to the video. You can either do this by clicking on the "Share" button or from the URL box at the top of the page.
Step 3: Return to your Google Sites. Click the "Insert" button and then click "YouTube".
Step 4: A dialogue box will appear.
In the search box, paste the link to the YouTube video and press "Enter".
You will see the video underneath the search box.
Click on the video and then click the "Select" button.
Step 5: Your page should look like this. Now, you only need to adjust the video so that it is centered and enlarged. To see how it looks like on your published site, click the "Preview" button.
Another alternative for you to post YouTube videos on your Google Sites is by using this function:
Once you click this, you will get the following image:
Click on the "+" button and you should get several options. Click on "YouTube" and follow steps 1 - 5. You can add some texts to accompany the video as well.
And there you go! Your YouTube video is now ready to be viewed.
