Welcome to the "Creating Your Own Teaching Module using Google Sites" module!
Hello everyone! Welcome to this online resource on using Google Sites to create your own online module. Just like this one.
We have gone through a very challenging situation with the Covid-19 pandemic which forced us to stay at home and conduct our teaching and learning activities online. Everything from our lessons and instructions, to our documents and now our textbooks need to be converted into electronic and digital forms to allow us to deliver our lessons better.
Sometimes, our textbooks are not readily available in PDF form and you might have to resort to PowerPoint slides converted into PDF. You know where this is going right? The small letters on the slides printed onto 6 squares of an A4 paper is not that attractive to your students right? Wouldn't it be better if we can compile all our instructions, activities and resources into one, single eye-catching platform and all you need to do is share the link to your students?
That is the purpose of this module. This module is designed to guide you step-by-step on how to create your own online module using Google Sites.
design a module based on a subtopic of a subject of your choice,
plan the materials that you will use on your module,
create materials and content that are suitable for your students and module,
create a complete module using various applications and software available.
