At its most basic, Flip@Flipgrid is a video tool that allows you to post "Topics" that are essentially videos with some accompanying text. This is then shared with students, who can be prompted to respond.
The response can be made using the software's camera to create videos or you can upload your own videos that are then posted to the original Topic. These videos can be recorded as many times as needed before uploading, and can have the addition of emoji, text, stickers, drawings, or custom stickers.

Step 1: Create a speaking activity on a subtopic of your choice using Flip@Flipgrid.
Click on the "+Topic" button to start. Look at the example below:
Step 2: Create a topic. Let's say your topic is on INFLATION and you want your students to define the term in their own words.
Give your topic a title.
Add a description of the topic. Give some basic guidelines on what you expect to hear in their videos.
Add an image to your topic (optional).
Set the recording time for the video. You should see the following image:
Step 3: Click on "Post topic". You will get this image:
Step 4 : Click on the "Embed code" button. The HTML code to be embedded onto your Google Site will be pasted on your clipboard. See the image below:
Step 5: Return to your Google Site.
Click on the "Insert" button.
Click on the "Embed" button. Paste the HTML embed code in the "Embed code" option.
Click "Next".
Step 6: Embed the Flip@Flipgrid topic onto your site by clicking "Insert".
Step 7 : Your page should look like this. Now, you only need to adjust it so that it is centered and enlarged. To see how it looks like on your published site, click the "Preview" button.
