The homepage is an integral part of any Google Site. This is where you provide the learners information about the subject, the topics, a brief overview of the module and any other relevant information.
The homepage is also where you inform your learners about the learning outcomes that they are expected to achieve at the end of the module. Not forgetting, you can also provide details about you as the developer of the module so that it is easier for the students to follow and get in touch with you.
THE INTRODUCTION
Give a brief introduction to your module. Welcome your students, give words of encouragement, set your expectations, give insights of what they will see and do when going through your module, congratulate your students for being a part of this learning experience... Just say anything that might attract your learners to look forward to finishing your module. Make it sound as catchy as you can! Oh yes! Insert a picture or two.
THE LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Since we are all educators, we should all be familiar by know about students' learning outcomes or lesson objectives. This is where you list down all the module's objectives starting with the phrase "At the end of the module, you should be able to..."
ABOUT ME
This is where you introduce yourself as the developer of the module. Give some necessary information for them to know you more by briefly telling them about your educational background, working experience, expertise and other relevant details. Also, don't forget to share a picture of you smiling wide, welcoming your learners to the module.
You can also share with them your social media profile details so that your learners can follow and subscribe to your accounts.
