Contract
This communications contract is a legal document that enables VDH to work with select communications vendors without going through a request for proposal (RFP) or quick quote process for each project. The media/advertising contracts listed below are mandatory agency wide contracts.
The contract allows LHDs and program managers to work with pre-approved communications vendors at any time during the duration of the contract to perform a specific scope of work for VDH, its program managers, or LHDs.
Vendors
Pre-approved communications vendors were vetted through a request for proposal process. Vendor submissions were scored and negotiated by a panel of VDH judges, and the top four agencies were contracted.
Waivers
The media/advertising contracts are in use as of February 6, 2024. For RAPs approved by March 6, 2024, OCOM is providing an APSPM exemption 1.5 b. (12). Email melissa.gordon@vdh.virginia.gov with the approved RAP to receive an exemption.
Moving forward, complete the OCOM Marketing Request Form before submitting a RAP for media/advertising. A link to the form is also located on the forms section of the Office of Communications intranet page.
