📅 Chesterfield Health District Naloxone/Opioid Overdose Reversal Training

Virginia's Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Education program is helping people learn how to recognize and respond to opioid overdose emergencies by administering naloxone, a medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. Medical experience is helpful, but NOT necessary.

Come to a REVIVE! Lay Rescuer Training event to learn:

Trainings are free and include a free kit with supplies.

Where: Bon Air Library – 9103 Rattlesnake Road, North Chesterfield, VA

When: August 3, 10am-11am

📅 Chesterfield Health District Immunization Clinic for 7th and 12th graders

State-required immunizations will be administered at L.C. Bird High School. Please bring your signed consent forms and insurance card if applicable. Children enrolled in summer school must have a signed consent. All other children under 18 must be accompanied by someone 18 years or older.

📅 Ongoing REVIVE! Trainings from Richmond and Henrico Health Districts

Richmond and Henrico Health Districts offer virtual REVIVE! each week via Zoom. REVIVE! is Virginia’s statewide opioid overdose and naloxone education program, which covers recognizing signs of an opioid overdose and how to respond using naloxone.

Weekly Virtual Training

Virtual training participants can arrange for free, contactless naloxone dispensing in the Metro Richmond Area. Go to the REVIVE! Registration. (You will not receive a confirmation email; meeting link is below.)
