Managing Subscribers in GovDelivery
Finding the Subscription Management Page
To find the subscription management page in govDelivery, follow these steps.
Navigate to "Topics" in the left-hand side navigation menu.
Choose the topic of your newsletter.
A new navigation bar on the right-hand side will open up.
Choose "Subscribers" from that navigation menu.
Note: don't choose "Subscribers" from the left-hand navigation menu. It won't help you accomplish your goal.
Viewing Existing Subscribers
There are two ways to view your existing subscriber list.
✍️ Option 1: View the List
You can view the entire list by clicking the SEARCH button. You don't have to add any information to the search fields. By clicking this button without any other information, it will return the entire list.
✍️ Option 2: Download the List
You can also download the list as a CSV file by selecting "CSV (ALL)."
Adding and Removing Subscribers
There are two ways to upload subscribers.
✍️ Option 1: Adding Individual Subscribers
Add each email address to the box beside "Add Subscribers." You can add one email address per line or separate them with a comma.
Choose if you want to replace subscriptions.*
Check the box to certify that you have consent to update subscriber information.
Click save.
✍️ Option 2: Adding Subscribers from a CSV File
Click "Choose File."
Locate the CSV file on your computer.
Choose if you want to replace subscriptions.*
Check the box to certify that you have consent to update subscriber information.
Click save.
Replacing Subscriptions:
If you want to replace the entire subscription list with a new list, choose YES. If you want to add subscribers to your existing subscription list without removing the original subscriptions, choose NO.
Duplicate Subscriptions
GovDelivery will detect duplications and only upload the duplicated email once. If you accidentally add someone who is already a subscriber, it will not add that email address again, so you never have to worry about your subscribers getting duplicates of your bulletins!
Removing Subscribers
The process for removing subscribers is very similar to the process for adding individual subscribers.
Add each email address to the box beside "Remove Subscribers." You can add one email address per line or separate them with a comma.
Choose if you want to replace subscriptions.*
Check the box to certify that you have consent to update subscriber information.
Click save.
