If you or a family member or a friend would like to see how to build a Lazarus system, or you know of someone that would like to help a family of limited finances to get a Lazarus system, please call/text me at 209-996-3087 or email me at Chats2Tai@gmail.com.
Bring a laptop, notebook, or device to record how to build a Lazarus System.
Please bring 2 USB flash drives of 8 GB each or 2 DVD Rewritable able to hold 4.7 GB or purchase from Tai ahead of time if you want this resource.
Goal: is to do a build from scratch on a system and load Linux Mint with open source applications to prepare to send to a family of need and recoup enough to build more for other families. The equipment will be saved from going to landfill and given a second chance to help students to learn about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Architecture, Mathematics and more). If you have a system you plan on sending to e-waste, please bring to this workshop. If you do not have one, that is okay, Tai has four or five we can work with possibly.
Be prepared stay for 2 to 4 hours this Saturday, August 4th or August 11th, 2 pm to 6 pm sorry for the time change)
If you are willing to bring a Lazarus project to your organization, please come and learn how to do a build and be a blessing in your community. Your youth may want to place this in a journal to help him/her to chronicle this later so that he can be seen as a servant/leader willing to help others in the community. We are hoping to bring this skill to the Boy Scouts, 4-H, and other organization and need your help in letting others know about this.
RSVP so I know how many to expect. Let me know if you are bringing a friend. Parents are welcome to learn with their youth as well. If we have too many, we may reschedule for two groups and another Saturday as well.
Let me know if you intend to bring your own system to work on and what the specifications are.
Call 209-996-3087 if you need help to figure that out.
