Recycle Cardboard & Paper

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

There are no longer cardboard recycling dumpsters at Cottonwood Elementary. Due to an increase in cost; scheduling; and patrons using the dumpsters for items that were not recycling; not breaking down boxes; leaving boxes to the side of the dumpsters (which will not be picked up); and even a few dumpster fires, the dumpsters will no longer be available for public use at Cottonwood Elementary.

For your cardboard recycling needs please utilize:

Green Fiber—3061 South 3600 West

or other local Holladay participating businesses.

Recycle your cardboard and papers and we receive a donation!

The green dumpster bins in the front parking lot are for cardboard and paper recycling. Our school gets $15/ton. Collect your newspapers, cereal boxes, phone books, old homework papers, and other cardboard and paper goods and drop them in the bins when dropping off or picking up your student. Through June 2014 we have collected over 8 tons of paper to recycle.

Recycling is easy and environmentally friendly!
