This channel that I have been crafting since 2006, means the world to me. And not just my thousands of videos, but my watch history, my countless subscriptions, and my likes, my 100k+ comments, my playlists, my upcoming podcast, and of course the community tab.
I have worked so hard creating this channel as a reflection of my life. Now I find myself in this lonely place in my life right; divorced, childless, living alone, severely disabled and often hopeless.
And so YouTube has become my community and a powerful source of meaning and purpose for me. For the first time in my life, I feel safe to create this public record of my life, documenting my useful knowledge and many skills as a teacher and musician, that I have no one in my life to give it to right now.
So rather than letting it go to waste, this channel preserves who I am to hopefully share it with someone someday after I'm gone.
It is very important to me that I don't lose this precious content forever.
I am absolutely devastated. PLEASE HELP ME!
My channel, Sunset Guitar, has been wrongfully removed, this is a mistake. My content does not violate YouTube’s policies.
I have been a dedicated YouTube user for 19 years and a creator for 2 years.
I'm a 100% disabled USMC Afghanistan war veteran, this channel is more than just a creative outlet—it is my life’s work and my source of meaning and purpose. Through creating content, I have found healing, connection, and inspiration from others. YouTube has become my community.
I have already submitted an appeal, but I need assistance ensuring it was reviewed fairly.
Removing my channel without clear justification—especially as a disabled veteran who relies on this platform for connection and purpose—goes against YouTube’s mission to support its creators and community.
I have thoroughly reviewed YouTube’s Deceptive Practices, and Scams Policy, and I cannot identify any violation I may have committed. If there was any misunderstanding, please give me the opportunity to correct it.
I kindly request a thorough review of my case and guidance on how to ensure my content aligns with YouTube’s policies.

I have been a dedicated YouTube user for 19 years and a creator for 2 years. YouTube has been my platform to share my passion for music, sunsets, my dogs, oil paintings, and more. I have always uplifted my audience, fostered a supportive community, and strictly followed YouTube’s guidelines.

Losing my channel means losing over 1,600 videos—priceless content that I can never recover. I have poured countless hours, often more than 12 hours a day, into creating honest, original content. I have never scammed or deceived anyone.

I've lost over 1,600 videos—priceless content that I can never recover. For the past 3 years, this channel has been the most important part of my life. I’ve dedicated countless hours, sometimes over 12 hours a day, creating honest content. I have never scammed or deceived anyone.
Taking away my honest content without justification—especially as a completely disabled veteran—is a complete failure of YouTube’s mission to keep its community safe and supported.
I have thoroughly reviewed YouTube’s Spam, Deceptive Practices, and Scams Policy, and I cannot identify any violation I may have committed. I would never intentionally mislead or engage in deceptive behavior.
I had no idea I was doing anything wrong. This channel means everything to me—not just my videos, but also my watch history, over 100,000 comments, playlists, and the community I’ve built. I’ve poured my heart into creating this channel as a reflection of my life.
Now, as someone who is severely disabled and living alone, YouTube has become my community.
For the first time in my life, I felt safe to document my skills and knowledge, creating a lasting record to share even after I’m gone.
Losing this content forever would be devastating. This channel means everything to me, and I am desperate to recover it.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
