This month's class focused on three different meal frameworks for building a balanced breakfast - smoothies, toasts, and porridges. Let the recipes we covered in class (below) serve as a launch pad for your own experimentation and creativity!

Almost every culture around the world has a whole grain porridge dish. Some are savory - like polenta (Italy), bubur ayam (Indonesia), arroz caldo (Filipino) and congee (China), kasha (Russia) - while others can be sweet - Sombi (Sengal), Oatmeal (US).
