This view is what happens when the ordering window is open (9pm Tue till 9 am Thu)
People order anything from certain products 3 x a year to every fortnight all that we use (except tomato tins, crackers and wine). You will find your own balance; it just depends on personal preference.
Note the massive amount of bulk possibilities. You do not have to, they also offer smaller amounts but if you have room to store, you can save a lot of money this way.
You can simply go through all the categories and make your choices.
In the down arrows in purchases and payments you can type in the correct date. You can see all your previous orders and payments.
Any worries, tell us!
You will get about 95% of what you order. The missing 5% is because one of
Quota was not met for a product. We order when 60-70% is sold. And we know which products we can take a risk with. But if you are the only one who ordered Warrigal Greens and we need 2kg to order, well, you miss out.
Sometimes weather events happen between the farmers sending the list 10 days in advance to our suppliers (and thus us) and it actually arriving. Particularly vulnerable for this are tomatoes and lettuce.
Sometimes delivery from the producer to our supplier/ purveyor has a glitch e.g. a NSW border.
Sometimes there is a limited supply of something. We have set the ordering times to give you the widest possible time frame. Once the order window closes at 9am, the Orderers, have 2 hours to place all the orders. Items that are in short supply may have simply run out with the suppliers, or rather, other groups got there first.
Sometimes we have enough orders to get a half box of eg Eggplant. The problem is that this will raise the price with 10% handling cost. And thus, the price you need to pay goes up a tat as well. We adjust all changes between pickup and 11 pm that night.
On pick up, have a look on the extras table.
Any surplus (the 30% over) will be placed on there for you to add to your order.
Note that if you order 5 items and 3 of those are not ordered by others, you will miss out on more than 95%. Most of what is on the list are single items. Unless you order very special, on average, in a $100 order, you will get 95%.
