Barbara Dilly
Mt. Holyoke College, ’60, trained in classical ballet then studied and performed dance in New York City (1960-1975) with the Merce Cunningham Dance Co. (1963-1968), Yvonne Rainer (1966-1970), and the Grand Union, a dance/theater collaboration that extended the definitions of improvisation (1969-1976). She moved to Boulder, CO (1974) designing the Dance/Movement Studies program at Naropa University, and served as President (1985-1993).
