What do we really know about employee turnover at the college?
The average employee turnover rate has doubled since Dr. Harrison began his tenure as president of WVC at the beginning of 2023. Approximately 110 employees have left since President Harrison's tenure began (the bars in orange) out of an average 250 full-time staff. This is roughly a 44% total turnover since he began, and an average 18.4% turnover per year. During the last 3 years of President Richardson's tenure, 2020 - 2022, the average employee turnover was 9.2%, including an unexpected loss of employees due to the COVID vaccination mandates.
