Bloom's Taxonomy is a foundation upon which you build and structure your knowledge to amass the ability to think more critically as you add more learning. Please see below for two wonderful resources with the levels of thinking and additional synonyms to help shed light on the types of thinking and how they apply to each section. The lower levels (Remember/Understand) are the foundation from which everything else builds. The higher levels (Synthesis/Evaluate/Create) are the highest levels of thinking which correlate to thinking you'll utilize when making clinical decisions (e.g. discriminating between two differential diagnoses or creating a new protocol to create x type of cancer).
