How this course works
The essentials:
This is a face-to-face course. Check your class schedule for location and time.
You will find resources and submit assignments online.
Weekly modules with assignments are available on Blackboard. I usually open each week's module the previous Friday or Saturday.
Check Blackboard and Slack often! Links for Slack sign-up will be in your individual Blackboard course.
How to be successful in this course:
Be present and participate! Most of our learning will come from discussion and sharing in class.
Ask for help! Please don't hesitate to come to me with any confusion, questions, or concerns about completing work.
Check your weekly and semester schedules often so you can plan your time and keep up with work.
Support your peers! Students (and I myself) often share personal stories in this class, so be supportive of others, offer constructive feedback, and keep your peers' experiences confidential.
