Pick at least two Crayola Crayon colors that start with the first letter of your names (first, middle, last, or maiden) and use those colors to design a quilt or a quilted garment that expresses something in your personal history. Pieced Patterns Using Fabric with Matching Designs. Hosted by Gwen Jordan and Adele Williams. Create a quilt, wall hanging, or quilted garment using a chosen block design with fabric that has that block name in the fabric, e.g., flying geese has geese fabric; a star block would have patriotic or stars and moon fabric. Our 2022 challenge was called the Bookmark Quilt Challenge sponsored by the Happy Hearts Bee.
The Challenge was to design and create a bookmark shaped quilt about a book you have read, or represent a book in some manner. The finished size was to be 12" wide x 36" long. Quilts were presented and voted on at the January 9, 2023 meeting.
