JOIN A COMMUNITY DISCUSSION, Saturday, Sept. 12th, on why trees are so important to help mitigate extreme heat, poor air quality and extreme rain events, but also have the potential to cause damage to our homes and take out power lines.

The Outdoor Community Classroom is open 365 days of the year!
We encourage you to start thinking how you, your school, organization, club, or friends can utilize this new space, complete with 5 educational signs, learning circle and little science library. The Classroom is open to all! From garden clubs to elementary students, poetry slams to bird watching, meditation to urban planning seminars, consider the Outdoor Community Classroom your space to explore the wonder and complexity of our environment. EASY BUTTON: locate our tool box at the Wonder of Trees sign - inside you'll find scavenger hunts for kids, bug boxes and magnifying glasses.
