The Outdoor Community Classroom is open 365 days of the year!
We encourage you to start thinking how you, your school, organization, club, or friends can utilize this new space, complete with 5 educational signs, learning circle and little science library. The Classroom is open to all! From garden clubs to elementary students, poetry slams to bird watching, meditation to urban planning seminars, consider the Outdoor Community Classroom your space to explore the wonder and complexity of our environment. WHAT PROGRAM WILL YOU BRING to the Classroom?
If trees could talk they would tell you all about the events that have shaped their growth and affected their health, including years with heavy spring rains and summer droughts. Trees can even tell us about insect attacks and climate conditions that may have affected our ancestors years ago.
