A fun and interactive session on the pitfalls and practicalities of earth friendly choices. Presented by College Park Climate Action Neighborhood, the Red Rose Reuses initiative and the Center for the Sustainable Environment at Franklin & Marshall, this micro course details the concerns, myths, and alternatives to single use waste without the guilt and all the reward. A light lunch will be served. We encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottle along with your questions and best practices.

Forget about the cold and start thinking about the growing season! Sip some homemade soup while simmering over some shared seeds and planting tips. Experienced gardeners bring your favorite extra seeds. New growers bring your questions and take home a free “Backyard Farmer Starter Kit.”

BIKE RIDES to Central Market 

Every Saturday Morning 10 AM - return around 11:30

Meet at 641 W Games St. (the alley between Race and State).  This is a friendly, easy paced, no one left behind ride to help build confidence riding in the city with experienced bikers. Biking equipment available. Learn some basic riding rules of the road.  Enjoy shopping or grabbling a cup of coffee with your neighbors before returning back.

BIKE RIDES to Longs Park Summer Music Series  SEE YOU NEXT SUMMER!!

Every Sunday Night 7 PM - return time decided by riders 

We're teaming up with Ride Roll & Stroll and Lancaster Strongtowns for a Bike Bus to Longs Park Summer Concert Series Sunday nights. Meet at the big rocks on Race Ave for a 7pm departure. Bike helmet and lights required for this safe and leisurely ride with your neighbors for some great outdoor music.
