Empowering Women through Livelihood Skills Training in Hairdressing in Brgy. Pulpogan, Consolacion, Cebu
“Kaanyag mo, Panginabuhi ko” is the project of College of Teacher Education that aims to empower women by enabling them to earn money even in their idle time. This project conducts a livelihood skills training specifically in Hairdressing specifically (1) Performing pre and post hair care activities, (2) Performing hair and scalp treatment, (3) Performing basic hair perming, (4) Performing basic hair coloring, (5) Performing basic hair coloring, (6) Performing hair cutting, (7) Performing hair bleaching, and (8) Performing hair straightening.
Moreover, this project, aims to provide a livelihood skills training in hairdressing in compliance with TESDA’s standards for the unemployed mothers in the said barangay, provide the necessary training for the beneficiaries, and help augment the family’s income through the said skills training.
The beneficiaries of the said project are the 20 married women in Barangay Pulpogan, Consolacion, Cebu.
