Suggestion: It is highly recommended to wear flats or moderate wedges because there will be a lot of walking (6 blocks, parking lot, and 4 flights of stairs up & down).
Cellphones are not permitted. If we see it, we take it and you will not be able to pick it up from school until Friday, June 6. You will walk through a metal detector upon arrival. Doc will be there and take any phones.
If you are not in dress code (see above), you will NOT be allowed to walk!
All students must be wearing their cap & gown, medal, and tassel (there are no extras and you will not be able to walk without it)
Your tassel must be placed on the right side
No other regalia is allowed for any club, honor society, or community organization
All graduation caps have students' names written on the inside, they can not be thrown. If your cap is thrown, your diploma will be withheld.
Do not alter your cap and/or gown in any way. DO NOT DECORATE YOUR CAP.
Remain standing for JROTC and the Pledge of Allegiance. Gentlemen must remove their caps for the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem.
No items in hands. The only item you will be holding is your name card, which will be given to you on the day of the ceremony.
Your gown must be upper to mid-calf in length, if your gown does not meet these requirements you must go to Herff Jones to get it corrected.
When putting on your graduation cap make sure your tassel is placed to the right at all times. For more information, watch the video to the right.
