ceremony instructions
The ceremony will take place at the Watsco Center located at 1245 Dauer Dr., Coral Gables, FL 33146 on June 1 at 2PM.
1:00 PM
Once you arrive at the venue, you will go through a metal detector. NO PHONES ALLOWED, they will be confiscated and you can not pick them up from school until Friday, June 5th.
You must arrive and pick up your name card from the counselor's table. Your name card will have your designated seating area, you must be seated by 1:15 PM (If you are late or out of the dress code, you will be excluded) If you are late, you WILL NOT be included in the ceremony.

Stand one arm's distance apart and smile
Everyone must remain standing until the last student is standing in front of their seat.
Remain standing for the Presentation of Colors by the JROTC, the Pledge of Allegiance, and the National Anthem. Gentlemen must remove their caps during the Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem.
3:30 PM
Mr. Balboa will confer graduates. Graduates will move tassels to the LEFT side. End of Ceremony.
All graduation caps have students' names written on the inside; they can NOT be thrown. If your cap is thrown, your diploma will be withheld.
Reminder (see mandatory dress code): Gentlemen must wear a necktie, and all students must wear their cap & gown, medal and tassel (there are no extras, and you will not be able to walk without it). Your tassel must be placed on the right side.
