Opp's First Printing Press
This George Washington Hand Press was brought to Opp (Alabama) from Georgia in approximately 1901. It came by Ox-cart and crossed the Pea River on "Holley's Ferry." It printed Opp's first newspapers in a warehouse located near where it now sits.
