CID Ranking Structure

What are the CID ranks?

CID Detective Constable - Probationary rank within CID where you learn the ropes
CID Detective Sergeant - More experienced members of CID where you may you may be Sting & PPO Trained
CID Detective Inspector - A mentor position within CID where they can train in IGD, Advanced IGD, Sting and PPO trainings.
CID Detective Chief Inspector - The most experienced members of CID with the ability to provide input into CID Promotions, CID Changes and and mentoring CID Detective Inspectors.

How do I earn a CID promotion?

In order to earn promotions within CID:

Maintain good RP
Maintain good hours
Submit intel forms
Get good photos of CID involved situations

CID Detective Constable

The CID constable is the lowest possible rank in CID they do get some perks in reward for this though, them being:

Can be drone trained
Can be advanced IGD trained
Can use the /police camera
Can view intel forms once advanced IGD Trained
Can go under cover

CID Detective Sergeant

The CID Sergeant rank is for the members of CID who have shown consistency within the division and have worked hard to gather useful intel. The perks for this rank are:

Can be PPO Trained
Can be Sting Trained

CID Detective Inspector

CID Detective Inspector is the first mentor position within CID. You must apply to join the CID Detective Inspectors.
The perks for this rank are:

Authorise your own CID clothing
Conduct CID trainings
Provide input into CID applications

CID Detective Chief Inspector

The final Rank within CID is notably the hardest to get into. To achieve this rank, you must not only prove yourself as a CID Sergeant but you must apply for it.
The perks for this rank are:

Suggest promotions within CID
Announce CID operations
Conduct CID Detective Inspector inductions
Provide shadows for CID Detective Inspectors
