Any questions or comments regarding our event must be brought to the attention of our tournament arbiter via email (ucr.chessclub@gmail.com) no later than Friday. Arbiter has final discretion.

All participants will be eligible for lunch courtesy of ASUCR.

If you wish to observe and not play in the tournament, please complete the food survey to ensure we have a proper headcount.

Stage 1: Quads (Group Stage)

In the first stage of the tournament, we will match everyone with 3 unique partners.

The top players will get to proceed to the subsequent tournament stage.

Round 1: 1:40 pm - 1:50 pm
Round 2: 2:00 pm - 2:10 pm
Round 3: 2:15 pm - 2:25 pm

Intermission 2:30 pm - 2:45 pm

Stage 2: Playoffs

In the second stage of the tournament (playoffs), the arbiter will identify the top scoring players from stage 1 and seed players into a playoff bracket as follows:

Semifinals

Round 4: 2:50 pm - 3:00 pm
Round 5: 3:05 pm - 3:15 pm
Round 6: 3:20 pm - 3:30 pm

Finals

Round 7: 3:40 pm - 3:50 pm
Round 8: 3:55 pm - 4:05 pm
Round 9: 4:05 pm - 4:15 pm

How to Find Skye Hall

Skye Hall is located directly north of the HUB.
It is directly behind the campus bookstore and UNLH 1000.
