Hi, I’m Vedh, the Marketing Director of the Chess Club at UCR and a Business Administration major with a concentration in Finance. 

Chess has been a huge passion of mine, and I’ve built a strong bond with this community through our shared love for the game. I especially enjoy bullet chess, which has surprisingly helped me develop my anger management skills!

I am also actively involved in my community, working as a tutor for teaching chess and serving as the media manager for two clubs, where I handle advertising. 

In addition to my work with the Chess Club at UCR, I am responsible for reaching out to new schools and coaches to raise awareness about the Day & Night Chess Club through flyers, emails, and phone calls. 

Teaching chess, a passion of mine, has been incredibly rewarding, especially seeing kids develop the same enthusiasm for the game. 

Through this experience, I have honed my communication skills, particularly in getting children to follow instructions.
