Students will introduced to the maple sugaring process , tree tapping, tree identification and biology as well as folklore. Maple-sugaring is a hands-on activity.
There will be a preschool program for those not participating in the park program.
Pack a picnic and come early for lunch and a play time in the park before the program begins.
Dress for the weather.
(Please note that Washington Crossing State Park is inaccessible after heavy snowfall. The event will be cancelled if the weather is too severe.)

In this workshop, students will learn how to prepare and package meals to bless others who are in need.
The workshop runs from 1pm to 3pm.
Location: Leah's House
Fee: $15 per family - Each family will work together to prepare and package their dishes and will take their meals home with them at the end of the workshop.

Join us the first Friday of every month at our winter warehouse location between the hours of 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. Get the kids together to play while the homeschooling moms chat. Bring a snack for your kids or one to share. Come at whatever time works for you and stay for as long or as short as you can. We hope to see you there!

Join us on a nature walk to explore and discover the natural world around us. This walk location includes a pond habitat, a reservoir habitat as well as a forest habitat. After the walk we will return to the picnic table area to discuss our observations & record some of them in our nature journals.
Nature walks are best in smaller groups so we will divide into two groups. There will be a preschool/toddler program held at the same time. Pack a picnic and arrive at 12pm if you wish for lunch and a playtime before the walk begins.
