Community Model

The Family Model…

• Moms and kids explore a topic together with lots of hands-on activities in an age-integrated setting. We break for lunch and include a time of fellowship and free play.
• Family events occur weekly, mostly on Thursdays, though events may be planned on additional days as needed.
• Our community holds events year round. We break the year up into three terms - May through August, September through December and January through April.

It’s a Community...

• Any homeschooling family is welcome to attend our events. Registration for each event will be listed on the website. Come as often or as little as you like.
• In addition to weekly family offerings, our calendar will also include workshops for moms, park playdates, and special events like retreats, homeschool camping trips and moms’ nights out. Anyone is welcome to attend these events even if they don’t join in for the Thursday family activities.

It’s Collaborative…

• Join us one time and see what it’s like! If you decide after that that you would like to be a part of our collaborative community, just sign up to help out in some capacity.
• Moms can choose what to offer based on their interests and abilities. An event can be anything - lead a nature study, host a learning party on a topic that interests you, plan a field trip, organize a science fair or a world fair, host a book club, help with a group party, etc.
